We always grab Thierry Mugler pieces whenever we come across them and we recently acquired an estate of clothing that included several fabulous Mugler pieces. 

This is a very unique vintage Thierry Mugler suit with a black wool knit ribbed shawl collar jacket and a black wool pencil skirt. The suit is a rich black but we had to lighten a few of the photographs to show the details of the pieces. The sleeves,shawl collar,and the trim of the pockets are all in a thick ribbed knit. As with all of Thierry Mugler's suits, the jacket is very fitted in the waist and it has pointed shoulders that are structured with shoulder pads which all accentuates the silhouette.

The front of the jacket has two fabric covered metal snap buttons for closure and the pencil skirt closes with a back metal snap with a metal zipper and flat hook and eye.

Made in France of 100% Wool. The ribbed fabric is 90% Wool, 7% Nylon and 3% Elastane. Lining is 100% Acetate.

Labeled a French size 42, and we estimate this would best fit a modern size 8/10. Please always review the measurements for a proper fit.
